Richard Orlinski has been the biggest-selling contemporary French artist in the world since 2015. He began his artistic career in 2004 and created his first work, a bright red resin crocodile, which soon became an iconic piece in the sculptor's bestiary.

The artist took inspiration from pop culture, everyday objects, and popular things. Richard Orlinski soon developed new sculptures, often of animals, all symbols of freedom, power and passion. The result: electrifying works of art in pop colours and a faceted style that would be seen all around the world. Exhibiting his works, often of spectacular dimensions, in unusual places and the great outdoors soon became his signature.

Richard Orlinski loves art in all its forms, so all spaces for expression and creation attract and interest him. The artist places no limits on himself and is therefore innovating all the time.

Driven by the desire to democratise art by making it accessible to the masses, Richard Orlinski takes an interest in all means of expression, and his art knows no boundaries. He was made an Officer for the Ordre des Arts et des Lettres by the French Minister of Culture, Roselyne Bachelot-Narquin, in 2021.

As time passed and he met new people, Richard Orlinski developed many projects. Some put him centre stage, behind the decks, on the big screen... His artistic sensibility is expressed in many areas: sculpture, design, music, publishing, fashion, and live performance... The artist loves to build bridges between worlds beyond boundaries. A success story marked by an ability to reinvent himself endlessly, propelling him onto the international scene.

His 1st single, Heartbeat, came out in 2017 with the singer Eva Simons before On My Way featuring Nyanda saw him spend weeks in the US Billboard chart. In early 2022, he will release a new track with the top Latin American streamers.

With five production studios in France and over two hundred employees, craftsmanship goes into every stage of making a Richard Orlinski piece. Reflection is the first step in creating a work of art. This is the longest part of the process as the artist sets himself no limits and has extremely high standards.

Richard Orlinski enjoys exploring different production techniques to bring life to his works. The artist has fun with colours, materials, transparency and light and constantly pushes back the limits of creativity and technique.

For Richard Orlinski, art is not a luxury but a necessity, with its imperatives, a necessary process of reflection. Hungry for novelty, curious and constantly seeking to go a step further, the artist is always willing to associate his image with that of prestigious partners such as Hublot (LVMH Group), BIC, and The Kooples... They were all happy to give the artist free rein so he could take his work further in a variety of fields.

Through this process, the artist has developed new artistic universes, ranging from cartoons to digital artworks with NFTs. Giving art a central place in our daily lives is a recurring theme.
